The Solid Waste Accommodation Program ("SWAP") allows a "participation accommodation" for those residents who, for medically documented reasons, are unable to transport the automated carts to the designated point of collection. The "participation accommodation" will allow the residents to continue placing trash at the curb in garbage bags.
You may qualify for the "participation accommodation" if

You are physically impaired,

There is no one residing in your home that is able to place the cart(s) at the curb, or

You provide medical documentation (Physician Statement/Certification) certifying that you cannot transport the carts to the curb.

Once completed documents are received, applicants will be notified of the status of their inclusion in "SWAP".
