2010 Budget Update

Mayor Michael P. Bell sent a balanced budget proposal to Toledo City Council for consideration on Monday, March 1st. CLICK HERE for more details about what is included. Toledo's city charter requires that a balanced budget be passed by March 31.

Council will next hold public meetings to gather community input on the service priorities that Toledoans feel need to be addressed.  CLICK HERE for a schedule of meetings in each of Toledo's City Council districts where you can offer input on Toledo's budget situation.

36th/37th Year CDBG/ESG Application FAQ:  On January 7, 2010, the Department of Neighborhoods released applications for two-year funding requests through the Community Development Block Grant entitlement and the Emergency Shelter Grant entitlement for HUD program years 2010 and 2011 representing the City’s 36th and 37th year receiving CDBG funds and the 24th and 25th year receiving ESG funds. Applicant agencies choosing to apply for this upcoming funding cycle were required to attend the January 7th release.
