It was at Wittenberg that he met his wife of 34 years, Elaine. Rob attended The University of Toledo School of Law for one year before becoming licensed to sell real estate in Ohio. He is currently licensed with The Danberry Co., and is a Life Member of the Toledo Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club, and is one of The Danberry Company's top producers year after year.
Rob and Elaine have two children, Pete and Mary. Pete resides in the Greater Cincinnati Area with his wife Suzanne, daughter Ridley and son Lennox. Mary and her husband John Mikesell live in South Toledo with their daughter Brianna. Rob and Elaine also live in South Toledo with their dog Hoover.
Rob was on Toledo City Council from 1994 through 2007 as the representative for District 2. He served as President of Toledo City Council in 2006 and 2007. Because of term limits he could not run for the district seat in 2007. Rob was again elected in November 2009 for a 4-year term At-Large seat, continuing his public service. He brings experience, common sense, and a renewed vision and energy to City Council.
Rob and Elaine, their family and supporters, thank the voters in Toledo for their support.
